Year 2017 – 2018

The inauguration of the Physics Club for the academic year 2017-2018 was held on 2nd August 2017. The Chief guest Mr.P. Chandrasekar, Director-Finance-Associated with Piolax India Private limited delivered a special lecture on the topic “INTRODUCTION TO INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES”. The office bearers of the Physics Club for the year 2017-2018 were presented with their badges. The Physics Club activity was held on 3rd August, 2017. Events like word scramble, memory capsule, pot pourri were conducted and prizes were awarded to the winners. The Valedictory function of Physics Club was held on 19th February 2018. The Chief guest for the function was Dr.Philominraj, former HOD of Physics, MCC, Chennai. The Chief Guest delivered an informative lecture on the working of nuclear reactor and on the concept of neutrino physics. The annual report of the Physics club for the year 2017-2018 was presented by the Club President Ms.Samreen Fathima.
