On behalf of the Department of Physics, the Physics Club 20-21 conducted their first events CARTOONING IN PHYSICS and PHOTOGRAPHY on the 11th of September 2020. The theme of the event was IGNIS. All the three years were invited through WhatsApp. It was an individual event with a minimum of five participants from each class to participate in each event. A registration link was provided through which the participants enrolled themselves in the competition.

CARTOONING IN PHYSICS - A creative hand-drawn cartoon presentation on the theme -IGNIS.The participants were also asked to give a brief description on their cartoon and it was judged on the basis of originality and adherence to the theme of the event.

PHOTOGRAPHY - Admiration of the surroundings with physics concept on it . Participants were asked to capture a photo on the theme -IGNIS.The participants were also asked to give a brief description about their photo which was judged on the basis of originality.

A week's time was allotted to send in their entries through mail and the entries where saved in separate folders in Drive.

The entries from all the three years were judged by Dr.(Mrs.) Akilandeswari P.E , Assistant Professor and Dr.(Mrs.)Aarthi Ganesan , Assistant Professor - Department of Physics.
