JBAS Alumnae Reunion 2026 - "Invite"
JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.
This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"
We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:
- Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
- Reminiscences of their college days.
- Poems.
- Paintings and sketches.
- Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.
Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

Year 2015 – 2016
The Physics Club Inauguration for the academic year 2015 – 16 was held on 10th August 2015. The chief guest Dr. R. Ramesh Kumar, Vice President, Tamil Nadu Astronomical Society and Dr.Mrs. Mercy Rajasekar, Controller of Examinations, JBAS College for Women inaugurated the Physics club. The Chief Guest of the day, Dr. R. Ramesh Kumar, delivered a talk on the topic “Man’s Place in the Universe”. This was followed by investiture ceremony of the new office bearers of the Physics Club for the academic year 2015-2016. The first meeting of the Physics club was held on 10th October 2015. Events like Clone the letters, Pre-Phase and Juke-Box were held. The Prizes were distributed to the winners by the staff members of the Department. Few photos are shared below:
