JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.
This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"
We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:
- Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
- Reminiscences of their college days.
- Poems.
- Paintings and sketches.
- Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.
Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

ANTI DISCRIMINATORY CELL
BRIEF REPORT ON THE AWARENESS PROGRAMME CONDUCTED BY ANITDISCRIMINATORY CELL/OBC CELL DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-2020
The Anti discriminatory Cell/OBC organized an awareness programme on the topic Gender Equality & Gender Sensitisation on 16.3.2020. The program was conducted in the college auditorium from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm. Mrs. Shobana. J, Member of the Anti discriminatory cell, delivered the welcome address to Justice D. Hari Paranthaman (Retd), who was the guest of honour for the event. He educated the students on the importance of gender equality by quoting various significant legal rules which the constitution of India is having to ensure gender equality. Further, he highlighted certain important judgements which the supreme court of India has given in cases relating to gender equality. Dr. Mrs. Amutha Ramalingam, Member of Anti discriminatory cell delivered the vote of thanks for the event. The students who participated in the awareness program filled the feedback forms and registered their feedback on the event.
