ANTI DISCRIMINATORY CELL

ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-2023

The Anti Discriminatory Cell organized an inter-collegiate Essay writing competition on the topic “ Discrimination and its impact on younger generation” on 8 th February 2023 in the Library Convention Hall from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. 37 students registered for the competition and 29 students participated in the essay writing competition. Mrs. Munna M, Assistant Professor from the Department of Tamil and Dr. Madhu V, Assistant Professor from the Department of English were the Judges for the Essay writing competition. The essays of the students are evaluated on the basis of content, presentation of thoughts and grammar. Madhumitha V of III B.A History won the first place followed by Tahseen Ismail Khan of I B.com (ISM) and Kaviya S of I B.Sc (Computer Science) who got the second place. Thaslima W of I B.com and Aathiqa M of II B.A (Corporate Economics) secured the third place. Vasundhara A of II B.Sc Chemistry of SDNB Vaishnav College won the Consolation prizes. Prizes were distributed to the students.
