JBAS Alumnae Reunion 2026 - "Invite"
JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.
This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"
We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:
- Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
- Reminiscences of their college days.
- Poems.
- Paintings and sketches.
- Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.
Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

ACTIVITIES OF THE RI FORUM (2021-2022):
The R.I Forum aims at providing knowledge that helps us to develop a positive attitude which in turn helps us to be spiritually stronger in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Religious instruction classes were conducted for Muslim students on every Thursday by a team of dedicated Muslim Staff members which was followed by the RI Annual Examination on the 12th of May 2022.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the regular bayans were conducted every Friday through the online platform Zoom from 3:30 to 4:30 pm on various inspiring and thought-provoking sessions by knowledgeable speakers. Once the restrictions were relaxed, the bayans resumed in the college masjid from 10:30 to 11:20 am. Special bayans were also conducted in the college auditorium during Ramadan.

Council for Peace (C.P) classes were conducted regularly by the students of JBAS through G-meet on Sundays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
The Annual Essay Writing competition in English, Tamil, and Urdu was conducted on 28th of April 2022 for the UG and PG students on various topics and prizes were awarded for the best essays. Special prizes were awarded to non-Muslim participants to encourage religious integration and communal harmony.
The Annual Function of the Orientation Course in Islam was celebrated on the 20th of May 2022. The Chief Guests of the event were Begum Seema Ahmed, the trustee of the Arcot Foundation and Sophia Husain, the Principal of Peace Academy. Prizes were awarded to the toppers of the Annual Examination and Essay writing competition.
