The Department of P.G studies and Research in Home science, Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women, organised an alumini reunion meet - "Homecoming 22" to reunite in the nest from where they grew and flew off and recollect their memories. The event was conducted on October 29, 2022 at FSM lab and IDD lab (II floor, Main building).

Everything goes according to the plan of God so the event started by invoking the blessings of Almighty. Ms. Mubina Rehana from III B.Sc. ND and Yusraa from III B.Sc. IDD was the ‘Master of the Ceremony’ for the event.

The event kick started with a welcome address by Dr. Shayestha Fathima, Assistant Professor, Department of P.G studies and Research in Home science, Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women, who is also an alumna of our very own Department of Home Science, JBAS College. She vividly recollected and shared her college day memories with sparkling eyes and gave an inspiring speech to the audience. Then, the current final year students conducted games and performed cultural events (song & dance) to entertain the alumni. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the games. Some of the alumni office-bearers were also felicitated for their valuable contribution during their college days.

Many of the enthusiastic ex- students were present for the alumni meet and enjoyed the get-together. Alumni details and feedback of the participants were collected.
