STUDENTS BAZAAR 2023 - 24th & 25th JANUARY 2023

The Young Entrepreneurs Development Council (YEDC) organised the Students Bazaar 2023 a two day exhibition cum sale on 24th and 25th of January in the College Premises.Students Bazaar is a platform for exhibiting the entrepreneurial skills of the budding entrepreneurs. The main idea behind this Students Bazaar is ‘Earn while you Learn’. The students of JBAS College of both Forenoon and Afternoon Session had put up stalls from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM. The Bazaar consisted of variety of stalls selling jewellery, garments, fashion accessories, handicrafts, scented candles, textile products, customised photocards, Resin artwork, Makeup products and food stalls offering different cuisine and baked goods.

AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON ENTREPRENUERSHIP IN COLLABORATION WITH EDII UNIVERSITY OF MADRAS AND JBAS BUSINESS INCUBATION CENTRE

YEDC and JBAS business incubation centre organized a workshop on “Entrepreneurship ” on January 27, 2023 in the Seminar Hall. The audience was comprised of the members of YEDC.

The workshop focused on what it takes in a competitive economy, to be an entrepreneur and how to reach success as one. Dr Padmaja Priyadarshini, entrepreneur and home plan guru, The resource person developed deep into her expertise and defined the aspects of entrepreneurship through her personal journey. She enumerated the different ways in which she kept herself motivated throughout her journey as an entrepreneur.

WORKSHOP ON ' CREATIVE WAX CRAFT FOR BUDDING ENTREPRENUER'

Workshop on candle making was conducted on 6.3.2023 in the VTI room. Mrs Suganya.u a proud alumna of the this institution was the resource person along with Archana.U chemical engineer was the other resource person. They created an awareness among the students and stressed on the three Creative, Clear and Confidence to be an entrepreneur. the resource person enlightened the students that how we can start a business with small capital and develop on it .
