Activities of Academic year 2019-2020
The Inauguration of Young Entrepreneur Forum was held on 1st August 2019 at 11.30 am in the College Auditorium. The Function began with invocation to Almighty by Ms.Sama and Ms.Arshia Akbar President YEF delivered the welcome Address. The Chief Guest Mrs. Sowmya Kumar Arjun , is an Alumna of our college and she is Entrepreneur of CHAYA, Tanjore Art & More. She also a partner in manufacturing Kozzmo Goli soda.

There was an interaction session with the students where the Chief Guest gave explanations on the questions raised by the students.
After the Inaugural address, the outgoing YEF members were felicitated with Service Trophies and New Office Bearers were inducted. The Winner of Students Bazaar of 2018- 2019 was felicitated with a trophy as a mark of encouragement and appreciation.The programme concluded with the Vote of thanks by Ms. Sabur Nisha, Vice- president YEF.

YEF - SEMINAR
As a next step in the direction of Entrepreneurship forum a seminar was organized and conducted in order to enthuse and encourage the students of commerce to venture in the field and become budding entrepreneurs. Mr. N. Pratap - Co founder start up groups India, a learned and celebrated personality was invited as the Chief Guest.
In his speech he elaborately dealt with the topics of entrepreneurship and shared his profound knowledge and experience. He also gave very valuable guidelines quoting several instances of success stories of individuals who dared to venture upon new and innovative projects and achieved success. Needless to say his presence and speech served as an impetus to the youngsters who derived inspiration and encouragement in good measure.

WORKSHOP
The work shop on ‘Sustainable Entrepreneurship’ was organized on 31st January 2020. The students showed overwhelming enthusiasm and participated in good number. Mrs. Bunvaneshwari, trainer taught the students different type of eco friendly bags which can be made easily by any one at minimum cost and how to get orders to supply the same.
The workshop was intended to give hands on training to the students to make cost effective eco friendly items and earn a decent earning by supplying the eco friendly bags at small scale while learning.

STUDENTS BAZAAR
The Young Entrepreneur Forum organized students bazaar on the4th and 5th September 2019 in the student’s parking area. It started off with the invocation to the Almighty by Mohisina (Joint Secretary). The principal of JBAS College inaugurated the students bazaar and wished good luck to all the participants.
