Student Enrichment Courses

i. Add-on Course on “Creativity with Electronics”

i.NPTEL Swayam Prabha Courses – I year students are encouraged to enrol and register for the NPTEL courses which are organized by IIT’s for the students to get exposed to various subjects of their interest and the subject experts.
1.Ms. Sana [Batch 2019] – completed the NPTEL course on Experimental Physics II - securing 95% - 12 week course Jan – Apr 2020.
2.Ms. Sameera Begum M – completed NPTEL course on Fiber optics – securing 45% - 8 week course Jan – Mar 2019.

ii.Add on Course on “Creativity with Electronics” – II year students are encouraged to take up this course which has two parts: A classroom sessions that includes lectures and hands on training on electronic circuits and an internship to do a minor project. The students will be assessed by an exam and viva at the end of the course. From academic year 2012 – 2013 to 2016 – 2017 the course was UGC sponsored and from 2017 – 2018 onwards it is supported by the Management.

iii. Value-added Course on “Scientific Software Tools for Skill Development – Origin and Mathtype”

This course is given to III year students to develop their skills in using scientific tools. Students are evaluated by quizzes and assignments.

iv. Certificate Course on Python Coding – Machine Learning and A.I.

III Year students are encouraged to take up this 80 hours course

1.27 students [21 - B.Sc. Physics ; 1 – B.Sc. Mathematics; 3 – B.Sc. Chemistry and 2 – B.Com.] have successfully completed the course in the academic year 2021- 2022.
