JBAS Alumnae Reunion 2026 - "Invite"

JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.

This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"

We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:

  • Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
  • Reminiscences of their college days.
  • Poems.
  • Paintings and sketches.
  • Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.

Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

HERBEL CLUB ACTIVITY 2019 - 2020

A Seminar on " HERBS IN DAY - TO - DAY LIFE"

The Herbal club has organized a seminar on "Herbs in Day to Day life" on 02.03.2020. The Guest of Honour for the programme was Dr.V.Karunanithi, Siddha Mediacal Practitioner from Sri Bohar Udalmalaviyal Maiyam, Sivagangai Dist. The resource person delivered a lecture on how to make use of spiced, culinary herbsa and herbal mediacal plants in day to day life to get relief from cold, cough, headache, stomach disorders etc. He also gave a information on some commonly available medicinal plants, their phytovhemical constituents and properties. The medicinal plants exhibition was organized at room no.44, Department of plant Biologyand Plant Biotechnology and was visited by all the participants. Nearly 50 medicinal plants with the placards were displayed by the students of plant Biologyand Plant Biotechnology.
