JBAS Alumnae Reunion 2026 - "Invite"
JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.
This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"
We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:
- Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
- Reminiscences of their college days.
- Poems.
- Paintings and sketches.
- Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.
Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

Activities of Academic year 2016 – 2017
The activities of the Fathima Akhtar health club was formally inaugurated on 2nd September 2016 by Prof. Dr. V. Banumathi, Director, National Institute of Siddha, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. It was followed by special awareness lectures by eminent doctors Prof. Dr. Shaik Shahul Hameedh, Principal, Govt. Unani Medical College and Pratibha Joshi, Naturopathic Physician, TRIMED, Chennai on “Traditional Medicinal systems in India”. Around 300 students of our College were benefitted by this program.
An interdepartmental poster competition was conducted on “Health from kitchen –Amazing benefits of Herbs and Spices” and prizes were awarded for the best posters.
