JBAS Alumnae Reunion 2026 - "Invite"

JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.

This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"

We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:

  • Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
  • Reminiscences of their college days.
  • Poems.
  • Paintings and sketches.
  • Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.

Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

Activities of Academic year 2013 - 2014

The activities of Fathima Akhtar health club was are formally inaugurated on 11th October 2013 by Dr. A.Sundaram, former Professor and Head of Diabetology, Govt Kilpauk Medical College. Dr. K.Rajendran , Patron ,Fathima Akhtar Health Club, former director of non communicable disease, Govt Royapettah Hospital offered his felicitation. Dr. Sridharan Asthma Specialist, Asthma and Allergy resource centre delivered lecture on Asthma causes and its remedial treatment. He also screened a short film Pannithirai and the Kolaveri remix song to promote the awareness through visual media. Dr. Subathra, Oncologist, Apollo Speciality Hospital delivered the lecture on Breast Cancer awareness. A poster presentation competition was organized on Breast cancer awareness as a part of Health Club activity. Students from various departments actively participated and were awarded prizes. Around 300 students were benefitted by this program.
