ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY JBASBIC DURING 2019-2020
The JBAS Business Incubation Centre has been setup in the month Aug 2019. On 25.09.2019 Mr. ParveshAlam, CEO and Director, Cresent Innovation and Incubation Council, B.S. AbdurRahmanCresent Institute of Science and Technology, Vandalur , Chennai were invited. He shared his experiences and enlightened on setting up the Business Incubation Centre in our campus.
An Awareness Programme was conducted on entrepreneurship by Mr.Vijay Kumar, CEO, India Trust on 19.12.2019 at seminar hall.
Students registered for startup ideas and they were asked to present their ideas before the expert committee chair person Dr, Amtha, Department of Commerce, identified 4 viable projects and selected projects were sent for seed capital by the management to start their ventures,
Courses
JBAS Business Incubation Centre in association with Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) is conducting One Month "BEAUTICIAN" , “CRAFT JEWELLERY” and “ START AND IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS” Courses at Free of Cost to our Students under Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme Commenced on 10th February 2020 at our College, in order to motivate and encourage the students and to enhance their Skills to become an Entrepreneur.
Stalls for Students:
CHARISMA the annual cultural extravaganza conducted by our College, provided the students with yet another opportunity to set up stalls to a wider customer base and try out new creative ideas of craftjewellery products and for Beautician
Extension Activity:
In Association with Department of Commerce (A.N) JBAS Business Incubation Centre Conducted an Extension Activity on Craft Jewellery Making by Ms.Fathima, Trainer Craft Jewellery for the student Parents to improve their Employability Skills on 29.02.2020.
One month Extension Activity:
JBAS Business Incubation Centre in association with Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) is conducting One Month , “CRAFT JEWELLERY” Course at Free of Cost to our Faculty and Parents under Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme Commenced on 6th March 2020 at our College, in order to motivate and encourage the faculty and parents to enhance their Skills to become an Entrepreneur. Due to Lockdown the Balance Classes on Craft Jewellery conducted through Online in the month of May between 26 05.2020 to 02.06.2020.
