JBAS Alumnae Reunion 2026 - "Invite"
JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.
This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"
We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:
- Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
- Reminiscences of their college days.
- Poems.
- Paintings and sketches.
- Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.
Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

EDU AWARD
On the 9th of January 2020, College was awarded with the ‘ Think Edu Award ‘ for continuous excellence in Education , instituted by the Event Express and the The New Indian Express Group.
THINKEDU AWARD
Justice Basheer Ahmed College for Women has been awarded the ThinkEdu Award instituted by the New Indian Express Group. The Award was presented by Thiru Edappadi K. Palaniswami, Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in the presence of Ms. Smriti Irani, Union Minister of Textiles and Women and Child Development and the award was received by Principal and Vice Principal (FN) on 9th January 2020 at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. Our College was one among the top 24 Colleges of Tamil Nadu to receive this award. Hearty Congratulations to the Principal, Vice Principals, Faculty members and students (FN & AN).
