Year: 2023-24
WORKSHOPS:

1. A WORKSHOP on CLAY TRINKLETS & STRING ART was conducted on 17th JULY 2023 by the Students of 3rd year IDD(Batch 1). Trinkets are small accessories made out of Shilpakar, involving a lot of Art skills. Students made their own works using their ideas and designs. String art was done by hammering nails onto a plywood , according to the desired design and tying threads around them. This activity was done with utmost care and precautions due to usage of hammer and nails.

2. A WORKSHOP on RESIN ART AND TEXTURE ART was conducted on 14th August 2023 by the students of 3rdyear IDD(Batch 2). Resin art made with resin hardener, mould, dry flowers, gold flakes and color pigment and for texture Art canvas board, white cement, texture paint, water and fevicol was used. Hands on training was given and later the students made their own works using their ideas and designs in resin art .

3. A WORKSHOP on DIY LAMP AND CANDLE MAKING WITH HOLDER was conducted on ON 22nd SEPTEMBER 2023 by the students of 3rdyear IDD(Batch 3). DIY lantern lamp, were made using paper cups to make small roses and glued them together in a lantern form and put lights into it to make attractive lanterns and candles were made.

4. A WORKSHOP on TEXTURE ART AND LIPPAN ART was conducted on 20th JANUARY 2024. Texture art was done with tissues, glue, water, paints and thoothpicks were used for the texture and canvas were used as base. Lippan art was made with air dry clay, pieces of mirror, glue and a Hardboard for base and were painted. Initially training was given and participants did their own works.

5. 3rd IDD MODEL MAKING WORKSHOP ON TRADITIONAL INTERIORS On 2nd FEBRUARY 2024

7. Workshop on tile painting for non-teaching staffs on 21st february 2024 to enhance their artistic skills.

8. Design Fiesta Exhibition held on 7 & 8 march 2024 to showcase the design and artworks of students of Interior Design and Décor.
