 Dear Parents, Students and Well wishers,

          The clarion call of  Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women is to empower women  who are the bedrock of our nation. Founded nearly seven decades ago by  a visionary, Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed and his able wife Mrs. Fathima Akhtar, this citadel of learning has been tirelessly striving to give education of the highest order to women without any discrimination.

          The Management of the College firmly believes in the adage ‘If you educate a woman, you educate a family’. Education is the key to combat  the malaise in society. It not only shapes character but also opens the doors to great opportunities. The Programmes and the activities offered in the College make young women become aware of the challenges in life and prepare them to face the future with confidence.

          We salute  the team of dedicated members of the Management,  teachers and other members of the staff who have laid a strong foundation for academic excellence and high moral values. The College has achieved many significant milestones in its march towards excellence. We reiterate our commitment to mould women of substance who can make a difference not only to their families but to their communities and the nation at large.
