NON-MAJOR ELECTIVES

(NME)

What is NME ?

• Every student who has opted for Tamil as second language in college should take up the Non-Major elective subject
• Students cannot take NME offered by their own
• Students should select and opt for NME across the other

BASIC TAMIL

Those students who have not studied Tamil up to the XII Standard and have chosen a Non-Tamil language under Part-I shall take Basic Tamil comprising two courses (VI Std Level).

ADVANCED TAMIL

Those students who have studied Tamil up to the XII Standard and have chosen a Non-Tamil language under Part-I shall take Advanced Tamil comprising two courses.

NON-MAJOR ELECTIVE

Those students who do not come under the above category can choose a Non-Major elective comprising two courses.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

• Read the instructions carefully before registration.
• Selection of the subject to be done carefully as registration will be accepted only for one subject.
• Change of subject will not be entertained.
• Registration should be done once. Responses will not be recorded for the second time.
• The subject portal will close once the required seats are filled.
