History

Jean Henry Dunant, the father of Red Cross Movement while going on a business mission to Castiglione saw about 40,000 soldiers wounded and unattended at the battle of Solferino. He forgot his business and started relief operations without any discriminations. It was his attempt which has brought the Youth Red Cross alive. since the first Geneva Conference in 1863. Henceforth  every institute has a Red Cross organization.
