JBAS Alumnae Reunion 2026 - "Invite"

JBAS College for Women is delighted to announce the Alumnae Reunion 2026, an occasion to reconnect with our esteemed alumnae and celebrate the enduring bond with our alma mater.

This year, the reunion will be held on 19th September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Theme of the Reunion:
"Echoes of Excellence - Celebrating the Legacy of Leadership"

We invite interested alumnae to contribute to the newsletter by sharing:

  • Articles or write-ups on their achievements and awards.
  • Reminiscences of their college days.
  • Poems.
  • Paintings and sketches.
  • Any other noteworthy contributions or accomplishments.

Alumnae are requested to submit their contributions on or before 30 August 2026.

Yoga - A Life Skill

The institution promotes wellness of the students in various activities and programmes. Yoga is one of such activities. Yoga is introduced because it helps in keeping our physical and mental health intact. Practising yoga helps to improve self-esteem, confidence, concentration, reduce stress and anxiety.

Every year, the College celebrates World Yoga Day in a pompous manner by organizing yoga sessions for its students and staff on campus. Students also participate at other events in the city to commemorate the yoga day. Awareness camps on yoga have also been conducted at city schools to promote yoga.

Since National Service Scheme (NSS) being one of the key wings in promoting welfare programmes for the students and the Community at large, has been initiating lots of awareness programmes related to health, hygiene and fitness.

Yoga is taught in every NSS Camp, the prime objective is to improve physical health and helps to enhance emotional intelligence. The NSS student volunteers practicing yoga and transferring to other students and society.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The NCC cadets of JBAS are also trained in yoga apart from their regular physical exercises and personality development training to increase their physical endurance and mental focus.
