Activities of Academic year 2019 - 2020

• In the year 2019-20 the Entrepreneurial Development Cell was inaugurated on 6th August 2019 in college auditorium.
  The Chief Guest for the inaugural function was Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Devarajan who is one of the 100th women achiever in the category of women empowerment.The Programme was started by thanking the Almighty continued by an inspiring speech. The Inauguration also sighted the launch of the Entrepreneurial Development Cell™s LOGO as well as the launch of the FACEBOOK page of the cell. The logo was launched by the chief guest Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Devarajan. The logo so produced new is a symbol of the EDC of the Entrepreneurial Development Cell in a word.
• GENERAL MEETING
  The General Meeting was to elaborate the prior motive of ED cell , also emphasized the need to include students from other departments in order to give them the exposure and training to start one™s own business and Ms. Kadambari Sathish founder of Visionary Women™s circle who was the speaker for that session.She motivated both staff and students to share their ideas on entrepreneurship, lead the session interactive and clarified the doubts of staff and students.
• ORIENTATION PROGRAMME HELD ON 17/07/2019
  The first session hosted by Mr. John Hayes, Principal Lecturer in Sheffield Hallam University in U.K. He elaborated on various course offered by the university, scopes for perusing post graduation degree in that university, new trends in online marketing .He used screen projection and power point to explain these things with graphs and charts. Finally he concluded Everyone can be an entrepreneur if they use these technologies to their benefit. The second session is headed by Ms. Kadambari Sathish,founder of visionary women™s circle. She elaborated on the possible impacts of the ED cell and conducted a debate on entrepreneur and job where students participated enthusiastically. She introduced Ms. Pooja , a successful healer who starts her own chain of healing centers shared her experience with the students. Later Ms. Kadambari Sathish projected a video to encourage the students to become a successful entrepreneurs.
• ORIENTATION PROGRAMME HELD ON 18/10/2019
  I.N.D.I.A Trust, a 30 year old National Public NGO conducted a career development program which is hosted by Prof. A. Vijaya Kumar founder of that Trust on 18/10/2019. He elaborated the benefits of becoming the entrepreneur and conducted an interactive session where students participated enthusiastically. He offered entrepreneurship training program in Anna nagar where 19 students actively participating in that program from our college.
• SESSION ON IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE HELD ON 29/10/2019
  The session headed by Mr. Joshua Gerard, COO 
  Tamil Nadu Advanced Technical Training Institute.
  He inculcated the skills required for becoming an entrepreneur in students and gave an outlook on the facilities available in Tamil Nadu Advanced Technical Training Institute for women Entrepreneurs.
• A WEBINAR ON DECODING ENTREPRENEURSHIP SERIES  IMPACT OF STRONG LEADERSHIP HELD ON 29/04/2020
  The first session hosted by Dr. Sagaya Rani, Director  Eduwisa International and Dr. Eniyathendral, CEO  Universal Exports & Imports PTE, headed the second session. Both speakers elaborated the impact of strong leadership qualities required to become entrepreneurs. Both sessions dealt in procuring Internal and external qualities of leadership and ways students can to built leadership qualities in themselves to become successful entrepreneurs.
